Less Support Tickets...More Time to Upgrade our services!! Technical Dept., Support Dept., Customers... Everybody is awaiting for the latest Helm Update... This update fixes over 86 bugs, improves 8 areas and includes 8 new features.
WHA, founders and creators of Helm 3 & 4 are putting all their efforts into releasing a BUG-FREE version of Helm 4, this is very encouraging to all of us. As we all know no company has ever been able to release a 100% BUG-FREE version of their product, so when we say BUG-FREE we mean a version of Helm 4 which fixes the most important problems. eg. Diskspace and Bandwidth graphs which are currently one of the biggest problems with the Helm 4 Control Panel, some other big issues with the Billing Area where also fixed in this release and many other both major and minor issues where fixed.
As for the improvements, this are a few minor improvements to help the customers and to reduce the amount of Support Tickets we get. One of the biggest improvement is the addition of some text in the autosignup page that informs all new customers that they are not registering a domain to avoid confusion.
New Features, 8 new features have been added with the most important being: the ability to add a Helm Login on our own website and the support for Microsoft SQL Native Failover. Some other new additions where the ability to register a domain without creating an invoice and a new notification which goes to us when a client registers a new domain through the Helm Domain Registration System.
What does this mean?? This means: Less Support Tickets and more Time for Upgrades and Launching of New Services.
Helm 4 has many advantages over other control panels which are the main reason why we chose it. One of its countless advantages is the ability to create our own Modules, Application Packs and Language Packs. Over the past 1-2 months we have been working on developing a Greek Language Pack for Helm; this will give another advantage to Helm as no other control panel includes Greek as one of their supported languages. We have also been working on creating 2 new modules for Helm 4 which; one of which will be released in January 2008. The second module will be released before, exact dates will be not be announced, announcements will be written as soon as the module is released. This module is something that both our Clients have asked for but also the Helm 4 clients have asked for. This module will be available for a little cost to other Helm 4 clients just so we can pay the developer who will work on producing this module for us. We have also been working at creating some application packs for Helm 4, these being ; phpMyAdmin, Dayfox Blog, FlatChat, PHP Mail List and many more... We are working on creating LOADS more which will be released as soon as some bugs found in the Helm 4 Application Packs Module get fixed.
We are now waiting for the release of version 4.0.17 which is now a BETA and being actively tested on by the Helm 4 testers. The release of 4.0.17 is due to the dedicated Helm 4 Development Team and the dedicated work of the Helm 4 Testers and the Chief Technical Officer of Helm.
